Dani Bayes and Tatum Thompson of Boise State have been named to the Mountain West All-Conference Team, according to an announcement from the league on Friday.
Bayes, a senior, receives her first postseason recognition since being selected for the Mountain West All-Freshman Team in the 2022-23 season. She tied for third in the conference for most three-pointers made during conference play, making 39 and averaging nearly two per game. Bayes also averaged five rebounds per game.
Thompson earns All-Conference honors for the second year in a row, becoming only the fourth player in Boise State’s program history to achieve this distinction in consecutive seasons during its time in the Mountain West. The senior averaged 13.4 points per game—ranking ninth in the conference—and had a field goal percentage of 47.9%, which was second best among all players.
Boise State is set to begin its participation in the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women’s Basketball Championship on March 7 at 3:30 p.m. MT in Las Vegas. As the fifth seed, they will face twelfth-seeded San Jose State in the opening round.
Other players recognized by the league include Milahnie Perry (Air Force), Lexus Bargesser (Colorado State), Julianna LaMendola (Grand Canyon), Destinee Hooks (New Mexico), Naomi Panganiban and Nala Williams (San Diego State), Meadow Roland (UNLV), and Malene Pedersen (Wyoming). Honorable mentions went to Emilia Long (Fresno State) and Shelbee Brown (UNLV).
Nala Williams of San Diego State was named Player of the Year, while Jayda McNabb of Air Force earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Lexus Bargesser was chosen as Newcomer of the Year, Skylar Durley as Freshman of the Year, Kaelyn Hamilton as Sixth Player of the Year, and Stacie Terry-Hutson of San Diego State received Coach of the Year recognition.
