Boise State finished its regular season with a team score of 195.400, losing to No. 10 Stanford, which posted a 197.775, according to a March 15 announcement from the team.
The meet marked the end of the regular season for Boise State and highlighted several individual achievements for the Broncos. Fifth-year gymnast Blake Pascal tied for second on floor with a career-high score of 9.925, while senior Sydney Kho was runner-up on beam with her own career-best of 9.900.
The Broncos began the competition with a score of 48.925 on bars, led by sophomore Kristina Shchennikova and junior Mahleea Werline, who both tied for third at 9.850. Werline has now scored at least 9.850 in five consecutive meets, and Shchennikova has reached that mark in five out of her last six competitions. On vault, Boise State earned a total of 48.850 in the second rotation, with sophomore Bridget Kemp leading the team at 9.800.
On floor exercise, Boise State delivered its strongest rotation of the night with a total score of 49.250. Pascal anchored this effort with her career-best performance, while Shchennikova and freshman Miraya Nero each scored 9.850 and Delaney Reeves added a 9.825.
Kho closed out the meet for Boise State on beam by recording her top event score ever at 9.900—marking only the third time this season that any Bronco has reached that number on beam.
Looking ahead, Boise State will host the Mountain West Championship on Saturday, March 21 at ExtraMile Arena against Air Force, San Jose State and Utah State.
