In February 2026, the German language program at Boise State University’s Department of World Languages organized an event for more than 200 high school students enrolled in German through Concurrent Enrollment. The “Do Deutsche” Day brought together students and teachers from eight area schools.

The event aimed to introduce local high school students to the Boise State campus, provide immersion in the German language, and broaden their academic perspectives. “Do Deutsche” Day received support from the university’s Concurrent Enrollment program. Faculty members Beret Norman, Becca Sibrian, and Franzi Borders led activities throughout the day.
