Boise State men’s basketball announced on Apr. 22 that it has signed forward Jikany Deang.
The addition of Deang brings new talent to the Broncos, who are looking to strengthen their roster for upcoming seasons.
Deang, who stands at 6 feet 11 inches, joins Boise State after two seasons with North Dakota State College of Sciences, a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. During his time there from 2024 to 2026, he played in 54 games and started in all but one, averaging 16.6 points per game on a shooting percentage of 44.4 percent.
In his most recent season, Deang started every game for NDSCS and increased his scoring average to 17.6 points per game. He was instrumental in helping the team achieve a record of 26 wins and six losses overall, including a strong conference performance and an impressive home record.
Deang is originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota.
