Boise State University is inviting nominations for graduating student leaders to be recognized at a special event in May, according to a March 10 announcement. The recognition aims to honor students who have made significant contributions through leadership roles across departments, organizations, or programs.

The initiative is organized by the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management along with the Student Involvement and Leadership Center. Selected students will be celebrated at a dessert reception scheduled for Thursday, May 7. Those honored will receive a leadership cord to wear with their academic regalia during graduation ceremonies.

Nominations are open until Wednesday, April 8, and can be submitted via an online form in CampusGroups. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for nomination. After being nominated, students must complete a short application between March 9 and April 15 to be considered for recognition.

In addition to recognizing student leaders, the university is also seeking nominations for a student speaker at the event. The speaker will be chosen earlier by a committee based on their application and supporting nomination materials.

For further information about the nomination process or the recognition event, individuals are encouraged to contact Jenn Fields at the Student Involvement and Leadership Center via jenniferfields426@boisestate.edu.
