Boise State will host Colorado State in a women’s basketball matchup on January 10 at 1 p.m. MT. Colorado State enters the game leading the conference with a 13-3 record and an active 12-game road winning streak, including a perfect 5-0 mark away from home this season. The Rams are among the national leaders in limiting turnovers, averaging just 10.6 per game, and top the Mountain West in several categories such as assist-to-turnover ratio, defensive field goal percentage, scoring defense, scoring margin, and overall winning percentage. Individually, Lexus Bargesser leads the conference in field goals made and total points.

Boise State has maintained consistency in its starting lineup throughout the season, with Dani Bayes, Mya Hansen, Libby Hutton, Natalie Pasco, and Tatum Thompson each surpassing 130 points so far—making them the only team in the Mountain West to have five players reach that mark.

Head coach Gordy Presnell continues to climb up NCAA Division I women’s basketball history with 780 career victories, ranking him 22nd all-time and fifth among active D1 head coaches.

Recent milestones for Boise State include Bayes and Thompson both reaching over 1,000 career points against Grand Canyon on January 3; Thompson also surpassed 500 career rebounds during that game. Hansen is approaching her own milestone with 942 career points.

The Broncos have excelled from beyond the arc this season. They lead the Mountain West by converting nearly 40 percent of their three-point attempts (108-of-274), which ranks fourth nationally. Pasco leads both the conference in three-pointers made (45) and three-pointers per game (2.8), while her shooting percentage of 48.4% from long range is sixth-best nationwide.

Hansen tops the Mountain West with both total assists (80) and assists per game (5.0). As a team, Boise State averages a conference-leading 16.6 assists per contest.

In terms of overall offense, Boise State leads the Mountain West in field goal percentage at 43.4% and ranks second in scoring offense at an average of 71.4 points per game.

Bayes has moved into fifth place all-time for program three-pointers made with 176; she trails Brooke Pahukoa’s record of 193. Pasco sits third all-time with 240 threes made.

Pasco also holds seventh place in program history for career points scored (1,374), ninth for field goals made (498), while Hansen is ninth all-time for assists (308).

The Broncos posted back-to-back games scoring at least eighty points earlier this season—a feat not achieved since February of 2021—and saw their bench contribute a season-high twenty-six points against Utah on December 10.

Defensively, Boise State matched a program record by holding North Dakota scoreless from three-point range on November 27 at Paradise Jam tournament play.

At home, Boise State remains unbeaten through seven games to start this season—the third consecutive year achieving that mark—and has won ten straight home contests dating back to February last year. Their current streak of twenty-two consecutive nonconference wins at ExtraMile Arena ranks fourteenth nationally.

Tatum Thompson was named Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year for this season; Pasco was also selected to the preseason all-conference team.
