Boise State announced on May 1 that it has signed forward Dovydas Butka to its men’s basketball team.
The signing adds depth to the Broncos’ roster, with Butka bringing experience from two previous collegiate programs. He spent his first two college seasons at Pepperdine during the 2024-25 season and Campbell in 2025-26, starting all 66 games over those years. During this time, he averaged 11.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting nearly fifty percent from the field.
Last season at Campbell, Butka started all 31 games for the Fighting Camels and averaged nearly fourteen points along with eight-and-a-half rebounds per game. He recorded double figures in scoring twenty-four times and had five games with at least twenty points, ranking as the team’s third-leading scorer by average.
Before his collegiate career in the United States, Butka played for BC Zalgiris in Lithuania’s top leagues (LKL and NKL) as well as internationally in the Euro League.
The addition of Butka is expected to strengthen Boise State’s frontcourt heading into next season.
