Boise State lost 7-1 to Fresno State on March 22 at Dona Larsen Park, ending their bid for a series sweep in Mountain West Conference play.
The outcome matters as it highlights both the Broncos’ overall performance in the series and notable moments for the team and fans. Despite the loss, Boise State had already secured the series win earlier in the weekend.
Fresno State recorded three home runs during Sunday’s game, limiting Boise State to just two hits. The Bulldogs also capitalized on eight walks and two errors by the Broncos.
