Boise State University announced on March 10 that it will hold the “Conversations on AI and Educational Values” event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 13, in The SPACE located on the second floor of Albertsons Library.
The event aims to bring together faculty, staff, students, and community members to discuss how artificial intelligence intersects with the core values of higher education. Organizers say the program is designed to foster thoughtful and practical dialogue about educational values in an era shaped by AI technologies.
The day-long gathering will feature a morning keynote address by Marc Watkins, a nationally recognized speaker and author. In addition to the keynote, sessions will cover topics such as assessment practices, multilingual writers, research approaches, and student perspectives related to AI in education.
According to Boise State University, the event is open to all members of its community who are interested in exploring both enduring and transformative aspects of higher education as they relate to advancements in artificial intelligence.
Registration is required for those wishing to attend.
