This season, Boise State has achieved several milestones. On March 1, the team posted a season-high score of 196.275 during a quad meet at San Jose State, including bests on vault (49.150) and floor (49.275). Julia Krzywanski and Blake Pascal each scored a 9.900 to share event titles for the first time this year. The Broncos matched their team-high score in a win over Southern Utah on March 13, highlighted by season-best performances on bars (49.150) and floor (49.250).
Individual gymnasts have also earned recognition throughout the season. Noelle Ball and Mahleea Werline both secured their first career event titles with scores of 9.900 on bars, while Kristina Shchennikova added strong routines across multiple events, becoming one of three conference gymnasts to achieve scores of 9.900 or better in three events this year. Sydney Kho captured her first vault title of the year at Air Force and has maintained consistent performances on beam.
Freshman Miraya Nero was named Mountain West Co-Freshman of the Week after winning two all-around crowns this season—the first Boise State freshman to do so since Courtney McGregor in 2017—and has delivered strong results across all apparatuses.
Attendance records have also been set this year; Boise State drew a crowd of nearly 3,000 for its Jan. 30 home opener and currently averages an attendance that ranks among the top in NCAA gymnastics.
As Boise State prepares to host the championship meet, fans can expect competitive routines from both established athletes and rising stars.
