Boise State will host Southern Utah for its final home gymnastics meet of the regular season on Friday, March 13, at ExtraMile Arena. The event, scheduled for 6 p.m., will also serve as Senior Night, with the Broncos set to honor seniors Anna Ferguson, Kylee Hamby, Sydney Kho, Sydney Leitch, Brantley Lucas, and fifth-year gymnast Blake Pascal after the competition.

The meet is significant as it marks the last opportunity for fans to see this group of seniors compete at home before postseason events begin. Live scoring and a free live stream will be available through Virtius and the Mountain West Network via BroncoSports.com.

Southern Utah enters the contest ranked 26th nationally with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 195.967. The Flippin’ Birds are particularly strong on floor exercise, ranking 21st in the country with an NQS of 49.200. Niya Randolph leads Southern Utah on bars and is tied for 18th nationally in all-around performance.

Several Boise State gymnasts have recently earned conference honors. Blake Pascal was named Mountain West Co-Floor Specialist of the Week after her routine at San Jose State scored a career-high-tying 9.900. Sydnie Whipple received her first weekly accolade as Mountain West Co-Freshman of the Week following a career-best beam score at California. The team has collected six conference awards this season.

Recent meets have seen Boise State achieve season-best scores across multiple events. At California on March 7, the Broncos posted their top beam score of the year (49.150), led by Whipple’s career-high and supported by strong performances from teammates including Sydney Kho and Brantley Lucas. On bars at Cal, Kristina Shchennikova set a new personal best with a score of 9.925.

Head coach Tina Bird continues her long tenure with Boise State gymnastics in her nineteenth season as head coach and thirty-sixth overall on staff. Under Bird’s leadership, Boise State has made numerous NCAA Regional appearances and secured multiple conference titles.

Looking ahead, Boise State will also host the Mountain West Championships at ExtraMile Arena on Saturday, March 21.
