Boise State University announced on May 4 that several construction projects will disrupt access to parts of the campus throughout the summer.

The university said these disruptions are necessary as buildings undergo maintenance and infrastructure upgrades. The work is expected to affect students, staff, and visitors who plan to be on campus during this period.

Albertsons Library will be closed from May 11 through May 29 for a full building outage related to a switchgear replacement. During this time, there will be no access to the library. A partial outage is scheduled from June 29 through July 16; while the building will remain open during these dates, air conditioning will not be available.

The Math Building is also scheduled for closure from June 1 through June 29 due to a switchgear replacement. No one will have access during this period.

In addition, work in the West Stadium Lot and Bronco Lane area begins on May 11 and continues until September 11. The project has four phases, with different sections of roads and parking lots closing in each phase. Areas affected include sections near ExtraMile Arena, Chaffee Hall, North Tower entrance, Stueckle Sky Center, Bronco Gym, and the Bronco Athletics ticket office. Sections of roadways and parking lots are set to reopen after each phase concludes.

Further details about specific closures can be found in maps provided by Boise State University.
