Boise State University announced on March 24 that it will host events for the 2026 Treefort Music Fest on its campus. The university said the events will take place on Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27 at multiple buildings across the campus.

The partnership is expected to bring together Treefort attendees, Boise State students, staff and faculty, as well as members of the Boise community. Organizers say participants can look forward to free student showcases, college pop-ups and other special performances during the festival.

According to Boise State University, its connection with Treefort dates back to the festival’s start in 2012. Over time, this relationship has grown stronger. The university now sponsors Treefort at what it describes as “the highest level.” In addition to sponsorships, many Boise State students, alumni and employees are featured during the event.

The collaboration aims to highlight talent and creativity from both within the university and throughout Boise. The university says these efforts help shine a spotlight on local artists in what is known as the City of Trees.

Looking ahead, organizers encourage community members and visitors alike to discover what Treefort has to offer at Boise State.
