Boise State women’s basketball will face Air Force in the semifinal round of the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women’s Basketball Championship on March 9 in Las Vegas. The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. MT tip-off and will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network and KBOI 670 AM.
The winner of this matchup will advance to the championship game, where they will meet either UNLV or Colorado State on March 10 at 7:30 p.m. MT. Boise State enters the semifinal as the No. 5 seed, while Air Force comes in as No. 9 after upsetting top-seeded San Diego State in the quarterfinals.
Boise State stands out nationally with four active players—Natalie Pasco, Tatum Thompson, Dani Bayes, and Mya Hansen—who have each scored over 1,000 career points exclusively at Boise State. Head Coach Gordy Presnell has achieved a record-setting 23 Mountain West tournament wins, surpassing Don Flanagan’s previous mark of 22.
This season, all five starters—Bayes, Hansen, Libby Hutton, Pasco, and Thompson—have scored more than 200 points each. The Broncos also reached their highest conference win total since the 2018-19 season with their fourteenth victory and notched their twenty-fifth overall win for only the third time under Presnell’s leadership.
Statistically, Boise State leads the Mountain West in three-point shooting percentage (37.6%) and assists per game (15.9). Pasco leads both the team and conference with eighty made three-pointers this season and ranks thirteenth nationally in three-point percentage at forty-three point seven percent. Thompson tops individual field goal percentage rankings within the conference at forty-seven point three percent.
Presnell currently ranks eighteenth all-time among NCAA Division I women’s basketball coaches with seven hundred ninety-four victories and is fourth among active head coaches.
