The Boise State women’s tennis team will enter the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Tournament as the No. 2 seed, following a share of the regular season championship, according to an April 17 announcement.

This seeding gives Boise State a first-round bye in the tournament. The team is set to play on Thursday, April 23, at 11 a.m. Mountain Time in Las Vegas against the winner of Wednesday’s match between No. 7 Nevada and No. 10 Colorado State.

Boise State finished its regular season tied for first place with San Diego State and UNLV. The final seeding was determined by Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national rankings, resulting in UNLV taking the top seed and San Diego State earning the third seed.

The upcoming tournament provides an opportunity for Boise State to advance further after a strong regular season performance shared with two other leading teams.
