On Saturday, March 14, Chicago Maroons, with former Bishop Kelly High School standout Blake Hawthorne, secured a 93-92 win over the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest, held at Gerald Ratner Athletics Center at 4 p.m., marked the teams’ first tournament meeting.
Chicago Maroons are set to compete again on Thursday, March 19 at 9 p.m. at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
The Boise State women’s tennis team has secured the No. 2 seed for the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Tournament after tying for first place in the regular season standings. The Broncos will face either Nevada or Colorado State on April 23 in Las Vegas.
