Congressman Mike Simpson, who represents Idaho’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on his official social media account addressing topics ranging from honoring veterans to federal government shutdowns.

On March 29, 2026, Simpson posted: “God bless our Vietnam Veterans. https://t.co/BABdirvQOJ”.

Born in Burley, Idaho in 1950 and currently residing in Idaho Falls at age 72, Simpson earned his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in 1972.
