Congressman Mike Simpson, who represents Idaho’s 2nd district in the U.S. House of Representatives, used his social media accounts on February 19, 2026 to share his positions on key legislative and local issues.
In a post published early that morning, Simpson stated: “The SAVE America Act PASSED the House with my support. Now it’s up to the Senate. This is a must-pass bill. Later that day, he posted about his participation in a radio show: “Enjoyed joining @kevinmillershow this morning! We had a great conversation about supporting our brave ICE officers, ending the out of touch Lava Ridge Wind Project, and bringing tax dollars BACK to Idaho communities. Thanks for having me, Kevin! https://t.co/SglxSdEQcf” (February 19, 2026).
In another message posted in the afternoon, Simpson discussed recent tax legislation: “Higher tax returns are on the way! That’s right, Idahoans and Americans will be keeping MORE of what they EARN thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts. I enjoyed attending a roundtable hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Pocatello Chamber to discuss these wins for the https://t.co/TlF8mA1jm4” (February 19, 2026).
