Simpson has served Idaho’s 2nd District in Congress since 1999 after previously serving in the Idaho House of Representatives from 1984 to 1998. Born in Burley, Idaho in 1950 and currently residing in Idaho Falls, Simpson is an alumnus of Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1972.
