Later that same day, he celebrated developments in Idaho concerning nuclear technology. Simpson remarked, “Great news for Idaho! Mike Simpson, who was born in Burley, Idaho, in 1950, has been a longstanding figure in Idaho’s political landscape. He has a history of service, having previously been a member of the Idaho House of Representatives and is also a graduate of Utah State University. Simpson is currently a resident of Idaho Falls.
