On January 23, 2025, Congressman Simpson expressed his support for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. He stated, “The right to life—the most fundamental human right—must be protected and upheld. I was proud to support the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which reaffirms that commitment by ensuring life-saving care for defenseless babies who were born alive.”

The following day, January 24, 2025, he conveyed enthusiasm about recent developments in Washington D.C., congratulating President Trump. Simpson tweeted, “It was a BIG week in our nation’s capital! I’m thrilled to congratulate President Trump, and I look forward to working with him to advance policies that benefit Idaho and strengthen our nation!”

Later on January 24th, he acknowledged participants of the March for Life event held in Washington D.C., stating his unwavering support for pro-life initiatives. His message read: “To those who came to DC today for the March for Life—thank you. I will always stand for LIFE!”
