Dominic Parolin has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, according to a March 24 announcement from Boise State.
The recognition highlights student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. Honorees must meet on-court requirements and maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
Parolin, originally from Coquitlam, British Columbia, is a graduate student majoring in interdisciplinary studies with a cumulative GPA of 3.77. He joined the Broncos two seasons ago after transferring from Lehigh.
After missing the entire 2024-25 season due to injury, Parolin returned this past year and played in all 32 games for Boise State, starting three times. He averaged 5.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting over 51 percent from the field and more than 81 percent at the free throw line. Parolin also scored in double figures four times and recorded double-digit rebounds twice during the season, leading his team in rebounding eight times.
Parolin is now the third Bronco in two years to receive CSC Academic All-District honors; Alvaro Cardenas and Tyson Degenhart earned similar recognition following their senior seasons last year.
