Former Boise State forward Dominic Parolin has agreed to terms on his first professional basketball contract and will play for the Vancouver Bandits in the Canadian Elite Basketball League during the 2026-27 season, according to an April 2 announcement from the team.
Parolin’s move marks a significant step as he transitions from college basketball to the professional ranks. The Bandits are one of ten teams competing in the Canadian Elite Basketball League, which is set to begin its 22-game regular season on May 14. Kyle Julius serves as both head coach and general manager for the team.
Parolin, who is originally from Coquitlam, British Columbia, played two seasons at Boise State. After missing the entire 2024-25 campaign due to a knee injury, he returned last season and appeared in 32 games with three starts. He averaged 5.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting over fifty-one percent from the field and eighty-one percent at the free throw line.
During his most recent season, Parolin logged an average of seventeen minutes per contest. He scored in double figures four times and recorded double-digit rebounds twice. Additionally, he led his team in rebounding on eight occasions.
The agreement provides Parolin with an opportunity to continue developing his skills at a professional level while playing close to home.
