Former Borah Senior High School standout Kayla Campbell and her college team, the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds, were defeated 12-2 by the Western New Mexico Mustangs in their NCAA Division II softball game held Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m.

The contest, played at The Yard, marked the first meeting of the season between the two teams.

Campbell tallied one hit in two trips to the plate.

The Greyhounds are set to play the Mustangs again at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at The Yard.
