Boise State women’s tennis announced on May 12 that Allison Isaacs, Tereza Polakova, Paula Schaefer, and Masa Viriant have been named to the College Sports Communicators 2025-26 Academic All-District Team.
The recognition highlights the academic and athletic achievements of these student-athletes. To qualify for this honor, athletes must compete in at least 75% of their team’s spring competitions and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
Isaacs, who transferred from Old Dominion and is majoring in business administration with a 3.72 GPA, achieved an 18-2 dual singles record this spring. She recorded a program-best 17 wins at the No. 4 singles position in a single season.
Polakova is studying kinesiology with a cumulative GPA of 3.79. She finished the season with a singles record of 12-5 primarily at No. 2 and posted a doubles record of 14-6 mainly at No.1 doubles. Polakova also delivered the clinching point in Boise State’s win over Utah State on April 17, which secured the Broncos a share of their first Mountain West regular-season title.
Schaefer holds a GPA of 3.89 as she pursues her degree in business administration and earned twenty combined victories during the spring season while playing mostly at No.5 singles and No.2 doubles.
Viriant was selected for the All-Mountain West Tournament Team at No.3 singles and maintained a perfect cumulative GPA of 4.0 as a business administration major, finishing with fourteen wins—tied for seventh-most all-time by any Bronco player at that position in one season.
