On Friday, Feb. 14, former Timberline High School standout Greyson Shafer’s current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northern Illinois Huskies.

The game took place at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field against Northern Illinois Huskies.
