On Friday, March 7, former Timberline High School standout Greyson Shafer’s current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.

The game took place at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field. This was their first matchup against the Islanders this season.

The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field against Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.
