Motorcyclist dies after crash on Highway 21 near Lucky Peak

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office announced on March 22 that a motorcyclist died following a collision on Highway 21 near Lucky Peak in Boise. The incident occurred around 6:34 p.m. on March 21, when deputies and Boise Police responded to reports of an injury crash.

According to the preliminary investigation, a 2024 Ducati Supersport motorcycle driven by a 21-year-old man was traveling southbound at milepost 11 when it crossed into northbound traffic and collided with a 2005 Ford F-250. The motorcyclist, who was the only rider, was transported by Life Flight to a local hospital but later died from his injuries. The Ada County Coroner’s Office may release his identity after notifying next of kin.

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the cause of the crash. Authorities thanked Boise Police for their assistance during the response.
