Natalie Pasco has been chosen to compete in the Celsius Women’s 3-Point Contest at the 37th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships, scheduled for April 3 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, according to a Mar. 25 announcement. The event will be broadcast nationally on ESPN on April 5.
Pasco is one of eight athletes selected for this year’s competition. She becomes the first Boise State Bronco to participate during head coach Gordy Presnell’s tenure and is the program’s first selection since Abby Vaughn in 2003. Additionally, she is only the fourth player from the Mountain West Conference ever to earn a spot in this contest.
This season, Pasco shot 43.7% from three-point range, making her rank eleventh nationally. Over her Boise State career, she scored a total of 1,571 points—fourth-most in school history—and made second-most three-pointers with a career shooting percentage of 40.4% from beyond the arc.
The annual event brings together top men’s and women’s college basketball players from across the country to compete for slam dunk and three-point shooting honors. In addition to individual contests like the Celsius Women’s and E*TRADE Men’s Three-Point Championships and Slam Dunk Championship, winners of each three-point contest will face off in the Skechers Battle of the Champions.
Indianapolis will host this event for the seventh time overall and third time at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Past participants have included notable basketball figures such as Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Cappie Pondexter, Odyssey Sims, Kris Jenkins, Jack Gohlke, Dyaisha Fair and Ariel Atkins.
Tickets are now available starting at $29 for those interested in attending. A full list of participants will be announced ahead of the competition.
