On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Timberline High School standout Greyson Shafer’s current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Omaha Mavericks.

The game took place at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Gary Hogan Field against Little Rock Trojans.
