On Wednesday, March 12, former Timberline High School standout Greyson Shafer’s current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The game took place at Kessler Federal Park. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium against UTRGV Vaqueros.
