Boise State University announced on April 13 that open enrollment for benefit-eligible employees will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 27 and continue until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026. Employees can use this period to select benefits that best fit their needs and those of their families.

This annual event allows eligible staff to review and make changes to their benefits coverage. The choices made during this period will take effect from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 unless a qualifying life event occurs that permits further adjustments.

An in-person open enrollment event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building Hatch Ballroom. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with vendors such as Regence of Idaho, Blue Cross of Idaho, ARAG legal service, Navia, as well as representatives offering new optional insurance plans including pet and long-term care insurance.

Employees seeking more information are encouraged to visit the Open Enrollment website.
