Cost of college went up for all students at Carrington College-Boise

Tuition and fees rose 0.3 percent for 2018-19 at Carrington College-Boise, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Idaho students paid $54,965 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $155 more than the $54,810 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 34 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 63 students received grants or scholarships totaling $309,380 and 70 students took out student loans totaling more than $727,772.

Including all undergraduates (428), 186 students used grants or scholarships totaling $993,931, and 238 students took out $2.6 million in federal student loans.
