Cost of college went down for all students at Paul Mitchell the School-Boise

Tuition and fees fell 0.6 percent for 2018-19 at Paul Mitchell the School-Boise, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Idaho students paid $18,000 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $100 less than the $18,100 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 83 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 71 students received grants or scholarships totaling $302,884 and 83 students took out student loans totaling more than $687,100.

Including all undergraduates (265), 216 students used grants or scholarships totaling $978,013, and 198 students took out $1.5 million in federal student loans.
