The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate James E. Risch, Jim Risch for U.S. Senate Committee, refunded $7,800 in September, according to data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

Candidates can refuse or return contributions for a variety of reasons. Contributions may be refunded, for instance, in the event that the candidate does not want to be affiliated with a contributor, a contribution exceeds legal limits, or the candidate withdraws from a race.

Jim Risch for U.S. Senate Committee has refunded $8,400 total since the beginning of the 2020.
