On Sunday, March 9, former Timberline High School standout Greyson Shafer’s current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.

The game took place at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field. This was their third matchup against the Islanders this season.

The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium against Tulane Green Wave.
