On Saturday, March 7, former Boise Senior High School standout Morgan Montgomery and her current college team, the Whitman Blues, were defeated 56-35 by the Hardin–Simmons Cowgirls in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest, the team’s first against the Hardin–Simmons Cowgirls in the tournament, was held at Mabee Complex at 8 p.m.
The Boise State women’s tennis team has secured the No. 2 seed for the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Tournament after tying for first place in the regular season standings. The Broncos will face either Nevada or Colorado State on April 23 in Las Vegas.
Boise State men’s tennis will face UNLV on April 18 for its final regular season match at Appleton Tennis Center. The contest will feature senior celebrations and could influence postseason seeding.
Boise State softball lost narrowly to UNLV despite Mya Flindt’s two home runs and four RBI. The Broncos attempted a late rally but fell short as they continued their series against UNLV.
