Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration

DATES

July 4, 2022

5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

LOCATION

Ann Morrison Park

1000 S Americana Blvd

Celebrate Independence Day at beautiful Ann Morrison Park with the City of Boise. The community is invited to spend the evening at the park and enjoy the free fireworks show synced to music on 107.1 K-HITS. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 10:15 p.m. (dusk) on Independence Day, but festivities in Ann Morrison Park will begin at 6 p.m. Food and drink vendors will be on site and beer and wine will be available for purchase for those 21 and older.

“Boise’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration is an important community tradition that brings our residents together,” said Mayor Lauren McLean. “Bring a blanket, some chairs and enjoy the holiday safely while watching a world class show in Boise’s backyard.”

Ann Morrison Park will be closed to vehicles all day on Monday, July 4, but people who plan to watch the fireworks are still welcome to walk or ride a bike into the park throughout the day. Outside food and drinks are also permitted in the park, but no glass bottles are allowed. Thank you for leaving drones, pets and fireworks, including sparklers, at home.

More details about parking and road closures around the park are available on the city’s website. Accessible parking will be available within the park for individuals with a placard.

After the fireworks show, Americana Boulevard will be closed for approximately 45 minutes to allow pedestrians to exit the park. Boise Police officers will assist pedestrians and will also staff closures to make sure everyone gets home safely.

Attending the City of Boise’s free fireworks celebration is a great way to enjoy the holiday safely. The professional show follows all necessary protocols, and a Boise Fire Department safety inspector is on site at all times. For more important reminders to have a safe Independence Day, visit the Boise Fire Department’s website.
