CHRISTIAN LIFE STUDY GROUP
First meeting of the season: Monday, October 3 at 1 PM via Zoom.
It is fall—cooler temperatures, shorter days, falling leaves, good books for stimulation and discussion! King of Glory’s Christian Life study group begins again for the 11th year and welcomes people who enjoy stimulating and, sometimes, provocative reading. The group meets the first and third Mondays of the month at 1 PM via Zoom.
First book: Love Is The Way by Bishop Michael Curry.
This book walks the path of love with one of the warmest, most beloved spiritual leaders of all time. The descendant of slaves and the son of a civil rights activist, Bishop Michael Curry’s life illustrates massive cultural changes. This book shows how America has come this far and, more importantly, how we can go further. Readers are lead to discover gifts needed to live the way of love.
