During its meeting Wednesday evening, the Boise Districting Commission selected a draft map to move forward for a public hearing, to be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers. The Commission meetings are live streamed on the City of Boise’s YouTube channel. Residents can also submit written comments through the Districting Commission website.
The draft map is the result of a few updates from map eight, which received overwhelming public support from both in-person and email feedback. Commissioners made slight changes to map eight to keep all precincts whole while ensuring low population deviation between districts.
Updates on Commission meetings, opportunities for community input and maps are available on the city website.
Please note the time change for the next meeting, which will take place at 7 p.m.
