Congressman Mike Simpson, who has represented Idaho’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 1999, recently shared insights from his activities and meetings on social media. A member of the House of Representatives and a long-time public servant, Simpson's recent posts provide a glimpse into his engagements with key stakeholders and policy priorities.

On March 5, 2025, Congressman Simpson expressed gratitude for meeting with firefighters in Idaho earlier that week. He acknowledged their dedication to community safety by stating: "I am grateful for Idaho firefighters—and firefighters across the nation—who are dedicated to protecting our communities. Thank you for all you do!"

The following day, on March 6, 2025, he reflected on an event where he heard from Elon Musk during a session with House Republicans. Simpson noted the continued efforts of House Republicans alongside the Trump administration in addressing governmental inefficiencies: "House Republicans will continue working with the Trump administration to fight and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse."

Later that same day, Congressman Simpson reiterated his commitment to veterans' welfare through discussions with the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Highlighting this engagement as part of his legislative focus, he stated: "Ensuring our nation's veterans receive the care they deserve is one of my top priorities in Congress." He thanked WWP for their contributions towards improving veterans' lives.
