On February 3, 2025, Congressman Simpson extended his congratulations to Secretary of Energy Chris Wright. On February 4, 2025, Simpson addressed fiscal responsibility in government spending by voicing his support for legislation that protects Second Amendment rights. He emphasized that taxpayer dollars should not benefit corporations undermining these rights.
