He criticized what he perceives as the Left's tendency towards destructive behavior, attributing it to low approval ratings.

In his final tweet of the day, Simpson highlighted his efforts as Chairman of the House Interior & Environment Subcommittee to secure permanent pay for wildland firefighters. He noted that this provision was recently signed into law by President Biden, expressing pride in supporting these workers.
