Congressman Mike Simpson, representing Idaho's 2nd district since 1999, recently shared his thoughts on several key issues via social media. Simpson has been an active member of the U.S. Congress and has a history of involvement in state and national matters.

On February 5, 2025, Congressman Simpson expressed his appreciation for meeting with the Idaho Rural Water Association. He stated, "I always enjoy meeting with @IdahoRuralWater. The issues they tackle are both complex and crucial for our state, and their hard work ensures Idaho's rural communities have safe and reliable water supplies."

Later that day, he voiced his approval of a recent executive order by stating simply, "I fully support this commonsense executive order."

In another post on the same day, Congressman Simpson highlighted National Girls & Women in Sports Day. He remarked on the importance of celebrating female athletes nationwide and mentioned his support for related legislation: "Today is National Girls & Women in Sports Day, a day to celebrate the incredible female athletes nationwide. I recently supported the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, a bill that protects the future of women's sports. I also am proud to support President Trump's EO…"
