Congressman Mike Simpson, currently serving Idaho's 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, has shared several updates through his social media platform where he expresses his views on various national matters. On March 29, 2025, Congressman Simpson extended his gratitude to military personnel. He stated, "God bless the brave men and women of the 124th Fighter Wing of the Idaho Air National Guard. ", reflecting his support for those serving in the Idaho Air National Guard.

Subsequently, on March 31, 2025, he voiced his stance on voting rights and citizenship requirements. He declared, "Only American citizens should decide American elections. Period." and further expressed his eagerness in supporting the SAVE Act, emphasizing the necessity for proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.

Later that same day, Congressman Simpson commented on national security, mentioning the link between border security and national safety. He stated, ".@HouseGOP, @POTUS, and the American people understand that border security is national security." portraying his alignment with the Republican Party and the administration on this issue.
