Congressman Mike Simpson, representing Idaho's 2nd district, recently took to social media to express his views on various political matters and commemorate a significant day of remembrance. His series of posts on X, made over two days, reflect his legislative priorities and his deep respect for veterans.

On March 28, 2025, Simpson focused on current political actions being undertaken by congressional Republicans. Simpson stated, "What's Happening in Washington? @HouseGOP is working to reverse the damage done by the Biden admin - like rolling back burdensome Biden-era regulations that have reduced Americans' ability to choose what product best fits their needs."

On the same day at a later hour, he shared the results of a survey sent to his constituents, revealing strong support for government efficiency. He commented, "I sent my constituents a survey with a simple question: Do you believe the government should operate more efficiently? More than 65% said yes—a clear message that Idahoans, like Americans across the country, want a government that is efficient, effective, and accountable."

On March 29, 2025, Simpson took a moment to recognize National Vietnam War Veterans Day, paying tribute to those who served. He urged followers to remember and honor their service by stating, "Today, on National Vietnam War Veterans Day, please join me in expressing gratitude to our Vietnam veterans for their unwavering commitment to our nation. God bless our Vietnam heroes."
