Simpson highlights tax legislation on social media, celebrates military service

Congressman Mike Simpson, a representative for Idaho's 2nd district since 1999, recently shared several updates on his activities and positions via social media. His tweets cover a range of topics from honoring the military to tax legislation.

On April 14, 2025, Congressman Mike Simpson extended birthday wishes to the United States Air Force Reserve, acknowledging their service and its significance to national security. "Happy 77th Birthday to the @USAFReserve!"

The following day, April 15, 2025, Simpson addressed financial matters on Tax Day. He expressed his support for legislation aimed at minimizing tax obligations for constituents by endorsing the 2017 Trump tax cuts. "I’m proud to support legislation that would cut taxes and prevent harmful tax hikes for Idahoans."
