Summer is right around the corner and coordinated planning efforts continue as Float the Boise partner agencies anticipate a busy season on the Boise River.

Zoo Boise, a division of Boise Parks and Recreation, is happy to announce that its new two-year-old female African lion named Ahsoka [pronounced ah-soh-kuh] is now on exhibit with Revan, the zoo’s male lion.
On June 2nd Boise Police responded to a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian incident on W. Poplar and N. Cole Rd. As part of the ongoing investigation, Boise Police detectives are looking for the driver or passengers of a dark-colored sedan that was seen traveling west on Poplar towards Cole at the time of the incident.
Next week Boise City Council will hold a public hearing on the modern zoning code and is inviting the public to participate by providing verbal testimony. Sign-ups are now available and residents are encouraged to pre-register online.
